"I find the quotas to be quite bothersome and the response times to be frustratingly slow."
I am a DevOps consultant with over 5 years of experience. Recently, I was hired to evaluate OVHcloud as a potential provider for a client. Unfortunately, I must say that OVHcloud is the worst provider I have ever worked with.

The signup process itself is relatively straightforward. However, once you are ready to start building, you encounter numerous quotas that hinder your ability to deploy even the smallest and cheapest instances. It is frustrating to face these limitations, especially after providing payment and company information. I fail to understand why these quotas are still in place.

Moreover, when you reach out to OVHcloud via email (as it is the only way to increase your quota), they ask you the same questions you have already answered in previous requests. It seems as though they are completely unaware of you as a customer. Additionally, their response time is significantly longer compared to other providers in the industry.

I would greatly appreciate more European cloud providers, considering the importance of data sharing. However, if OVHcloud wishes to compete with the major players, they need to make significant improvements. My suggestion would be to eliminate these frustrating quotas and enhance their response times.

"The services provided are absolutely useless, and the customer support is equally disappointing."
The services and customer support provided by this company are absolutely useless. Unfortunately, I misplaced my phone which had my registered OVH cloud two-factor authentication, as well as my emergency server keys. Despite engaging in a 6-day long email conversation with the support team and providing all the necessary documents for server ownership verification and deactivation of 2FA, I am still waiting for a solution. This service provider is the most useless I have ever encountered in my life. It has been the worst experience imaginable.

"Disappointing Experience: Refunds Delayed & Questionable Practices"
On June 30th, I placed orders for both a Dedicated server and a VPS server, and I paid for them using PayPal. However, my orders were canceled, and they assured me that the refund had been processed. It is now July 31st, and I still have not received the refund. The order numbers for the servers are 15613280 and 15611397.

I am extremely disappointed with their actions and I suspect that they may be engaging in dishonest practices by offering servers at low prices in order to deceive customers. It seems that when an order is placed, they simply cancel it and pretend to issue a refund. This kind of behavior is dishonest and can be considered as cheating.

Edit:

I have not received any communication from OVH regarding this matter yet. Additionally, my account was closed one month ago when OVH canceled my order.

"They never provide refunds."
I placed an order for two VPS on July 13. The order numbers are: Track order no. 15727070, Track order no. 15721042. Unfortunately, my order was rejected due to concerns about transaction security. OVHcloud has requested that I use a different payment method to proceed with the order.

At this point, I no longer wish to continue trying to purchase services from CA.OVH.COM. Instead, I would like to receive a prompt refund. It has been two weeks since I requested the refund, but I have not received it yet. Additionally, no services have been provided to me, and no refund has been arranged. I am curious as to why there has been such a long delay in processing my refund and why it has not been arranged despite the service not being activated for me.

I want to clarify that I do not hold any ill will towards OVH. I simply hope that your staff can review my information and resolve the refund issue as soon as possible. I must say that other areas of OVH, such as ovh.ie and us.ovh, have been great. It is only the ca.ovh that has been problematic. Thank you.

"OVH is an extremely unproductive team."
OVH is an extremely unresponsive team. When you create a ticket, you can expect to wait forever for a response. However, if you escalate the issue to a higher authority, they suddenly become active and start addressing the problem. It seems to me that OVH operates like a government job, where one person does the work while five others watch. This kind of inefficiency can lead to losing business or, alternatively, improving it by taking action. We are no longer in the 70s where waiting for mail was the norm. In today's social media era, news spreads instantly across the globe, even if someone just cuts their finger.

"This review is a scam."
I decided to suspend my subscription after they received an abuse email due to their outdated spam program/software. Out of the 6000 messages sent, only 4 were identified as spam. However, they not only removed my account but also refused to provide a refund. It seems impossible to request a refund as they have already removed your account. To make matters worse, they will rent out the VPS to someone else, continuing the cycle.

""Unexpected order failure" results in a significant increase in the price of the coveted domain."
I attempted to purchase a domain along with the recommended accessories. They informed me to wait for 48 hours to receive confirmation. However, after 48 hours, they responded stating that my payment did not offer sufficient transaction security. Consequently, I had to place a new order using a different payment method. Initially, this didn't seem like a major issue. However, when I tried to renew the process, I discovered that the domain I had previously attempted to purchase (which was not a popular or well-known one) had suddenly become eight times more expensive. This increase affected both the base cost and the yearly rates.

"It seems that they may not be interested in having customers."
I registered on July 3rd and requested approval to book cloud resources. On July 4th, I received an email asking for data such as an ID copy and proof of business. I promptly provided the requested data, including a link to the government's official website for our business registration.

On July 12th, I received an email stating that someone would take care of my request. However, on July 16th, I received another email asking me to respond to their additional data request, which they claimed to have sent three days prior, but I never received.

I promptly sent them the downloaded copy from the companies house website, which I had already linked in my initial application. To my surprise, on July 18th, I received yet another email asking for the ID copy, as if I hadn't already provided it.

Honestly, at this point, I'm starting to question if they even want paying customers. Their onboarding process has been an absolute disaster. I have used gcloud, AWS, Hetzner, and many other smaller providers without any issues.

I couldn't get through to the support phone number provided, so I opted to send a direct message via OVH's Facebook page. Fortunately, Mr. Vinicius S. promptly and kindly responded, assisting me in resolving the login issue I was facing with my account.

"I have been using OVH for more than 10 years and I am extremely satisfied with their services."
I have been using OVH for over 10 years and have had multiple dedicated servers with them. Since it is an unmanaged service, I do not receive any technical support.

The price/performance ratio is higher than most other providers, making it rare to find better hardware at a cheaper price.

The uptime is almost perfect, with very few instances of hardware faults. And if there is a fault, the intervention and repair process is very quick.

The control panel is generally good, although it can be a bit cumbersome. However, it is capable of handling a wide range of OVH products. My only complaint is that managing firewall settings could be made easier.

"The server is currently experiencing an outage and unfortunately, the technical support team has been unresponsive."
I had a dedicated server with OVH. The disks on my two servers failed twice. It would often take their technical support around 4-6 hours, and sometimes even days, to respond to our support tickets. Our server was down for 3 days and they showed no concern.

We were hosting our customers' websites on the server and had put in a lot of effort to acquire these customers. Due to the 3-day downtime, we lost more than half of the customers we had gained over the past 4 years.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to make a wise decision when purchasing a server.

"There is no reactivity."
I have been attempting to redirect my website multiple times since March 2023, but unfortunately, no progress has been made.

Within the OVH settings section, I have made several attempts to forward my domain name, bretagne-tourisme-annarmor.com. However, even after waiting for two days and checking the outcome, nothing seems to be functioning properly.

I have paid for the services and have reached out for assistance multiple times via email, but my website continues to remain invisible. This situation is highly detrimental to my business and is causing significant inconvenience.

"The offers are deceptive."
I recently became a customer of OVHCloud and had intended to renew my dedicated server eco KS-GAME-2 in advance, as it came with a permanent 50% discount. However, when I attempted to renew, the price displayed did not include the discount. I am wondering if this is an error, as I distinctly recall the fine print stating that the discount was permanent and not just for the first month like the current promotions. I tried reaching out for assistance through tickets and Discord, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response.

Edit:
I would like to apologize for any confusion caused. It seems that the discount does appear when making the final payment for the renewal.
