"Something felt off with the outage updates"
I get that outages happen, and I don’t expect everything to be fixed instantly. But my gut feeling was that the communication just wasn’t there. The updates came too late and didn’t really say much, so I was left guessing what was going on and when things might be back to normal. It made the whole situation feel more frustrating than it needed to be.

"The docs actually saved me a headache"
I had a server issue and was worried I’d end up getting bounced around or talked into something I didn’t need. But their docs were clear enough that I could figure it out myself quickly. Nothing flashy, just actually useful, and it saved me a lot of time.

"Lots of options and solid features"
I’ve been using ovhcloud for a while now, the biggest thing I like is how much they offer in one place. VPS, dedicated servers, storage, domains, backups, hosted private cloud, all that stuff. It’s been nice not having to bounce between a bunch of different providers for every little thing.
The control panel isn’t always the prettiest or most obvious at first, but once you get used to it, there’s a lot you can do. The settings are detailed, the network options are solid, and the pricing feels fair for what you’re getting. For my projects, it’s been reliable overall, i’m happy with it.
"I had to reach out to OVHcloud..."
I had to reach out to OVHcloud about an abuse issue coming from one of their hosted servers. I wasn’t exactly expecting miracles, because let’s be honest, these reports usually disappear into a black hole, but their form was actually easy enough to deal with.
They got back to me faster than I expected and, shockingly, seemed to actually read the details I sent instead of firing off some useless canned reply. The bad traffic stopped after that, so apparently taking reports seriously is possible after all.
Plenty of providers make this kind of thing way more painful than it needs to be, but OVHcloud handled it well in my case. No endless back-and-forth, no pretending they couldn’t see the issue, just a fairly straightforward fix

"I really wanted this to work…"
I really wanted this to work out, but there was just too much downtime for me. You expect things to be reliable when you need them, and it got frustrating quickly.

"OVH works fine overall, and maybe I’m..."
OVH works fine overall, and maybe I’m just picky because I’m used to tools that make integrations super simple, but connecting third-party services was frustrating. The docs didn’t really clear things up for me, so I ended up spending more time than I expected just getting things hooked up.

"Seems like they’re trying, but I’m not totally sure"
I mean, it looks like they have some eco-friendly efforts going on, which is nice. But i had a hard time finding clear details about what they’re actually doing. Maybe the info is there somewhere, but it didn’t feel super easy to track down.

"I tried OVHcloud for a dedicated..."
I tried OVHcloud for a dedicated server i kind of assumed I’d be able to mix and match the hardware easily. Once I started looking though, a lot of the CPU, RAM, and storage setups felt fixed, so my quick “yeah this should be simple” assumption was wrong.
Some of the options I wanted were either out of stock or pushed into more expensive plans, which got frustrating fast. The service works fine overall, but if you already have a specific server build in mind, you might run into limits sooner than you’d expect.

"Solid choice if privacy actually matters to you"
I moved a few client projects over to OVHcloud mostly because of the EU hosting and the more straightforward privacy setup. Getting started wasn’t totally smooth, but support did help enough to get things sorted, and the compliance docs were easy to track down. I also like knowing the data stays in Europe and that they seem to take GDPR seriously, unlike some providers that make you dig around for basic answers. The dashboard isn’t the slickest thing out there, but for privacy and control, it’s felt like a safe option so far.

"Solid security and DDoS protection"
I've been using OVHcloud for my server for a while now, and the DDoS protection has been working well. Makes me feel a lot safer having it there, no big issues so far

"Decent for the price!!!"
ovhcloud is definitely on the cheaper side compared to a lot of other options, which is nice!!! But once you start dealing with support or needing any extras, it doesn’t feel like such a great deal anymore!!! It’s not bad or anything, just kind of average in my experience!!!

"When our traffic started picking up, the..."
When our traffic started picking up, the resources felt stuck in place. The company talks a lot in that polished, everything-is-seamless kind of language, but in actual use, it didn’t feel very flexible. We needed room to grow quickly, and this just didn’t keep up the way we expected.

"Quick help, just like I hoped"
I’ve noticed that good support usually follows a pattern: they listen, don’t overcomplicate things, and actually fix the issue. That’s pretty much what happened here. Support was friendly, helpful, and got everything sorted out quickly.

"Billing was smooth"
No billing mess at all, which I really appreciated. My account stuff just worked fine, fine, and I didn’t have to chase anything down or deal with confusion.

"Decent network, but the routing gets kinda weird"
OVHcloud has been mostly okay for me, not gonna lie, but the routing can be a bit sketchy sometimes. Some connections are totally fine, then others take these random weird paths and the latency spikes for no obvious reason. Support didn’t really give me much of an explanation either. It works, yeah, but I was hoping the network quality would be more solid

"Backup restore let me down when it mattered"
I don’t think I’m being unreasonable here, but when I actually needed to restore from backup, it just didn’t work the way it should have. Support took too long to get back to me, and in that moment the whole disaster recovery setup felt useless. I get that issues happen, but this was exactly the situation it was supposed to help with

"My VPS works fine at times…"
My VPS works fine at times, but then the pages randomly slow down during certain hours for no clear reason. I contacted support and they said everything looked fine, but from my side the speed just hasn’t been stable. Personally, I don’t think I’d stick with it if consistent performance is important

"Good choices, but I’m still torn"
I’ve used other cloud providers for a while, so I’ll admit I came into OVHcloud a little unsure because I’m already loyal to my usual setup. That said, their data center options were what made me take a serious look. In Europe, they actually feel solid, with enough locations that it’s easy to find something close to users.
Where I got a bit stuck was outside Europe. For what I needed, the choices felt more limited than I expected, and I wish the regional availability was clearer before getting too far into checkout. I don’t dislike OVHcloud at all, and I can see why people stick with them, but for now I’m still kind of split between them and the provider I already trust...

"automation felt more annoying than helpful"
I really wanted the automation to make things easier, but it ended up being more of a hassle. the API docs felt scattered, and while the automation did work here and there, it broke often enough that I stopped trusting it.

"Solid for domains, and the DNS does the job"
I’ve been using OVHcloud for a couple of domains, and it’s been decent overall. DNS changes usually go through quickly, and the pricing feels fair enough. The control panel can be a little confusing at first, but once you get things set up, it works fine. Nothing fancy, just a service that does what it’s supposed to do, which is really all you can reasonably ask for.
